STEP for Women will work with women who have an interest in entering the construction trades as well as those women already active in the industry who may need support in furthering their careers. The program will also work to develop a mentoring network for women across the industry to assist with better retention on the worksite.
STEP for Women is a joint initiative of the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) and the Metis Nation BC (MNBC) with funding support from the BC Ministries of Economic Development and Community Services.
