STEPPING UP

Through our mentoring program we aim to:
provide motivation, increase confidence, provide role models, encourage networking, inspire women and girls to work and study in trade certified fields, and increase recruitment and retention within both education and employment.

One on One mentoring teaches people to:
  • become more self aware
  • manage their own learning
  • improve performance
  • maximize potential

Mentoring is personal and an effective mentoring relationship is shaped by mutual respect, trust, understanding, and empathy. This aid to excellence helps both the mentor and mentee become the people they want to be.
